The autumn leaves drift by my window...

The sad songs of fleeting geese have entered our fall repertoire.  Warm days and the last of summer's lazy breezes play with our hair as we take a break from working on the house.  The evenings have also once again become cool, anticipating winter's eventual, inevitable arrival.

Summer has turned to autumn and the feasting season is upon us.  In celebration of my favourite time of year, I've done a bit of blog remodel.   I can't wait to get to the new property and begin taking my own seasonal photos for the blog background - but for now we'll enjoy a stock image.

The elms and poplars are beginning to turn and the prairie earth once again prepares her children for winter repose.
