Great grub and Gypsophilia

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a potluck birthday party in honour of a prominent Margaretsville resident.  The food was fantastic and I spent the majority of time speaking with a friend of Kookum and Mooshum's who happens to be a shaman.


After supper we all wandered over to the Margaretsville Volunteer Fire Department and treated to a performance by Gypsophilia.  On the whole, I was expecting some folk/gypsy/jazz/swing, but the first half was more folk-mitzvah.  I enjoyed the first part much more than the second - it was more like the extended play introduction to a 60's jewish-psychedelic record.

Sadly, I lost interest at about quarter after ten and wandered off...
