Graphic Images after the jump - Groups call for end to dog shoots

I don't want to make this a political blog, but I feel so strongly about this issue that I can't help but speak out. Please be warned that if you click on this post, you will be exposed to very graphic images of dead dogs.  This was an article bravely published by the Winnipeg Sun in their online edition.
This is fucked. There are ways to help First Nations and other northern communities deal with dog overpopulation, dog shoots are not the answer.

Look at these animals. Many of them died in excruciating pain, or were left injured to starve to death while their bodies were blown to bits. Look at this and weep for these dogs who did not deserve that life or death.

This is cruel and it is a crime.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE.
